Chrome Valley Customs

Chrome Valley Customs is a Casual Mobile Game where you get to customise vehicles.

I began my work on CVC by creating a Vehicle pipeline that would make the process of developing, integrating and animating a vehicle smooth and easy. 

Vehicle Pipeline

I created tooling to automatically rig the vehicles, and made an anim pipeline so that a library of premade car part animations would apply in Unity to any vehicle body part regardless of dimensions.

2.5D Canvas Renderer

To boost the fidelity of Canvas feature of the game - I created a 2.5D pipeline. I created Blender & Maya tooling that allowed us to render the layers and project them onto low poly models. I'm super happy how this turned out. 

VFX

The game required a whole host of other techart stuff - here are a few highlights:

  • Restoration VFX, fire, car filled with water & fish, etc

  • Super optimised blurred ground reflections

  • Vehicle Shader with Pearlescence, Clearcoat metallic etc

  • Unreal Vehicle and Character Tooling for Marketing Assets

  • 2D Match3 VFX & Shaders
